MEDIA CREDENTIALS PICK-UP

The deadline to apply for PAFF Media Credentials has passed.

If you applied by the deadline and were approved, you can pick up your passes between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the PAFF offices except on Thursday, February 7th. On the 7th the offices will close at 12 noon.

PAFF PRESS PASS RULES AND GUIDELINES

Each person approved for a PAFF Press Pass must sign a form when picking up their credentials acknowledging that they understand the following. Failure to do so will result in an automatic denial of a 2008 PAFF Press Pass.

• PAFF Media Credentials do not guarantee seating for any screenings.

• PAFF Media is seated on a space availability only, no exceptions.

• No recording devices are permitted in the AMC Magic Johnson Theatre without prior approval. Theatre security will be monitoring all press and will ask violators to leave. This is AMC The atres rule, not PAFF's so please don't ask us to change it.

• PAFF Media Credentials are not transferable under any circumstances. Violation of this rule will result in an automatic revoke of your credential.

• Plan ahead. If there is a film that you want to cover, go to the theatre early and check in at the PAFF table. PAFF will make every effort possible to accommodate you once the PAFF ticket holders are seated and if there is space available.

• Media cannot get into screenings without a physical ticket, so arrive early, and check in.

• Only PAFF pre-approved media will be allowed to enter PAFF red carpet events. All other media's coverage is extended to the red carpet only, no exceptions.

We will do our best to grant credentials to as many outlets as possible. Please note that press has all access (provided that space is available) to all festival film screenings, Panel Discussions and Workshops held at the AMC Magic Johnson Crenshaw 15. Due to space limitations there is very limited access to the general press room for high profile celebrity events (Opening Night Film, Night of Tribute, Centerpiece, and Closing Night). For electronic crews there is a maximum of three people per space for Red Carpet Arrivals; for print reporters and all photographers there is only one person per space. Please send this form, a letter of intent to cover from your editor/producer and all related materials to the address below no later than January 14, 2008. Late applications and incomplete applications will not be considered or acknowledged.
