Tiffany Jackson, The Creator of “Introducing Brave Brown” at PAFF’s Children’s Fest

PAFF is excited to welcome the creator of “Introducing Brave Brown,” Tiffany Jackson, to their free Saturday Children’s Fest on Sat. Feb. 17 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the Bridge at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.

Ms. Jackson will read from her newest book “Introducing Brave Brown” which tells the story of Arianna Brown who is afraid of the dark. After multiple attempts to fall asleep, nothing seems to work until her grandmother comes into her room. Her grandmother has a secret that unlocks Arianna’s inner superpower! Will this new superpower allow her to fall asleep?

After the reading, Ms. Jackson will sign copies of her book and then using arts and craft, she will teach children in attendance how to make their own superpower!

The PAFF Children’s Fest, a free event for children ages 4-12, is a vibrant celebration of imagination, creativity, and storytelling tailored specifically for the youngest cinephiles. With a diverse lineup of enchanting films, interactive workshops, and engaging activities, PAFF offers a magical journey into the world of cinema for children of all ages. From animated adventures to heartwarming tales, each film is carefully curated to inspire wonder and ignite the imaginations of young audiences. Beyond the screenings, hands-on workshops allow children to explore the art of filmmaking, art, storytelling, literature, fostering a deeper appreciation for the culture of Africa and its diaspora.
